What are the uses of lead ingots

Lead ingots are divided into large ingots and small ingots. The small ingot is rectangular trapezoid with binding groove at the bottom and protruding ears at both ends. The large ingot is trapezoid, with T-shaped boss at the bottom and grabbing and hoisting grooves on both sides.

Lead ingots are mainly used in the manufacture of batteries, coatings, warheads, welding materials, chemicals, lead salts, cable sheaths, bearing materials, caulking materials, Babbitt alloy and X-ray protective materials.

Transportation and storage of lead ingot

1. The lead ingot shall be shipped by means of transport without corrosive substances to prevent rain.

2. The lead ingot shall be stored in a ventilated, dry and non corrosive storage room.

3. During the transportation and storage of lead ingots, the white, gray white or yellow white films formed on the surface are determined by the natural oxidation properties of lead and are not used as scrap basis.
