Recovery value of copper scrap

The recovery and utilization of copper scrap industry is more attention, and copper scrap recovery is relatively simple.

From 1950 to today, the production of recycled scrap metal recycling has been increasing year by year, and the ratio between the recycling of primary copper waste and recycling of recycled copper waste in developed countries has reached or exceeded 1:1. In some developed countries, such as the UK, the annual average growth rate of recycled copper scrap recycling is 6.2%, which is much higher than the 0.1% growth of primary copper scrap recycling in the same period. In 2000, 8.16 million tons of recycled copper scrap and alloy were produced around the world, accounting for 33% of the primary copper scrap recovery output. Among them, 93% in the UK, 59% in Germany, 89% in France, and 186 times of primary copper waste recycling in Japan. The United States is a country with a large amount of copper scrap recycling.

About 20-40 percent of the world's copper consumption comes from recycled copper. Therefore, the development and utilization of recycled copper technology is an extremely important technical and economic issue in the copper industry and a major source of consideration for the increasing demand for copper. Recycling resources and developing renewable energy are effective ways to resolve resource shortage and maintain ecology. It is of great significance to accelerate the establishment and improvement of the recycling mechanism of waste metal, greatly improve the utilization degree of renewable resources, help to protect the ecological environment, alleviate the problem of resource shortage in China, and promote the sustainable development of social economy.
